MPs to visit vandalism sites in Mukono, Jinja

Parliament’s Committee on Environment and Natural Resources is today (Thursday) expected to visit the sites of vandalism of the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL)’s infrastructure. 

The Committee is expected to visit the site where four UETCL towers on the Owen Falls-Lugogo transmission line were vandalised in Kivuvu village in Mukono district. 

MPs are later expected to visit the Kakira sugar plantation where vandalism of UETCL infrastructure has been recently reported.
