Over 600 graduate from Mildmay Institute

Over 600 graduands have Thursday (November 9, 2023) graduated from the Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS).

The sixth graduation ceremony saw 188 graduates with diplomas and certificates in Nursing and Midwifery, 88 with certificates and Diplomas in medical laboratory/ technology, and 107 with Diplomas in clinical medicine and community health. 

Others were awarded Diplomas, and certificates in medical records and Health informatics, public health, Nutrition, and clinical Diabetes, and 93 with certificates in frontline Business leadership.

The event was celebrated under the theme, ‘Celebrating 25 years of building human resources for health.’

Edith Akankwasa, the institute’s principal congratulated the students upon attaining a great milestone in their lives.

She said the institute has worked tirelessly with the students and that they have not only imparted knowledge but they have also sought to instill the values and ethics that are needed in the health science sector.
