VP Alupo graces Brig Gen Igumba book launch in Jinja

JINJA - On Friday, Uganda's Vice-President Maj. (rtd) Jessica Alupo graced the launch of 'Born to Win', a book authored by Maj. Gen. George Igumba. 

The event happened at Civil Service College of Uganda in Jinja city. 

Alupo was welcomed by Lt. Gen. Ivan Koreta together with other senior army officers of the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF). 

Igumba is the Commandant of the Senior Command and Staff College, Kimaka.

Igumba's journey encompasses overcoming numerous obstacles, setbacks, and challenges along the way. 

The journey "from bustardhood to generalship" serves as a testament to the human spirit's ability to transcend limitations and achieve greatness.

Several notable guests at the book launch were in attendance.

Igumba hopes his book will inspire others to believe in their potential, pursue their dreams with vigor, and never lose sight of their goals.

Ultimately, the book underscores the transformative power of resilience, perseverance, and unwavering determination in shaping destinies and making extraordinary accomplishments possible.
