▶️ Woman sues health facility over sterilisation

MASINDI - The Uganda Association of Women Lawyers at FIDA-Uganda, together with a 35-year-old-woman, have filed a civil suit against Masindi District local government and the Attorney General over involuntary and forced sterilization.

The woman says the sterilization took place at a Government health facility, where she had been admitted to remove fibroids. 

She says instead, her ovaries and uterus were removed.
