Two teenage brothers in Wakiso district say they are devastated as they've mark four years since the disappearance of their parents Proscivia Nasaazi and Henry Kalungi.

Paul Kasule,16, and Peter Buwembo, 14 say with every passing day, they are more desperate to see their parents and are asking the public for help find them.

Kalungi and Nasaazi have been missing since June 11, 2021, and were last at their home in Kateebe zone, Bugabo Cell, Nalugala Ward, Katabi Town Council, Wakiso, according to the family.

“We all had high hopes that they would at least come back for Christmas,” Buwembo, the youngest sibling, said. “Mum and Dad left with no clothes. They left with nothing. All their clothes that he wore normally are still there.”

According to the LC 1 chairperson Augustine Kanakulya, the matter was reported to Kisubi Police Station after receiving news about the disappearance of Kalungi and his wife from his sister, Leticia Namutebi.

"I hereby inform you about the unpleasant news about one of my residents by the name of Kalungi Henry whose whereabouts are unknown. He disappeared and was last seen on June 11, 2021, at his home in Bugabo Cell," Kanakulya said in a letter to the Police.

"His family first thought that he would come back, but up to now, he has not yet come back. That's why his sister, Leticia Namutebi came to my office after receiving information from his son Peter Buwembo that his father and mother were nowhere to be seen."

The Police said the matter was being investigated and a search for them has been going on but appealed to the Police to provide any information that can help in finding the missing persons. The family also appealed to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Nasaazi and Kalungi to call 0754228230 or 0772403901.
