Should we celebrate independence?
Uganda attained its flag independence on October 9, 1962 — nearly 62 years ago. I use the phrase “flag independence” because in reality our country is anything, but independent. Before I am crucified for what may seem a controversial opinion, let me tell you what “independent” means to me.
