Congratulations to all beloved Ugandans who triumphed in the just-concluded NRM Primaries. The Russians have it that “Appetite grows with a meal.” The NRM’s socio-economic and political meal across Uganda has always been good governance, security, political stability, economic growth and development.
These strategic dimensions have always blossomed Uganda’s appetite for the NRM’s continuity as a leading political dispenser and team leader across the country based on its rightful philosophy, ideology and strategy in managing public affairs.
Other political parties and organisations in Uganda must take time to study in detail the MRM’s work methods and tactics that are making it a darling political entity of national character, distribution and an endless winner in the political and electoral dispensation of Uganda.
Rather than unleashing negative criticisms at all times, the rightful Socio-political path to all political competitors should be to learn, re-learn and unlearn the NRM’s methodology that makes it a winner party of all seasons. This strategic intervention will help all the opposing parties to come up with appropriate innovations and strategies that will defeat the NRM’s cause, excellence and significance to the people of Uganda to be outvoted.
The NRM has a good menu and a known buffet it offers to Ugandans, unlike its competitors. Its leadership strategy is rooted in the great pillars and principles of patriotism, Pan-Africanism, democracy and socio-economic transformation, which is indispensable in revamping Uganda’s backwardness and re-purposing Africa’s mission and vision as a continent of great potential and significance.
Uganda and Africa need to change from being serial paupers and dumping grounds for the Western world. It's only the NRM party so far with this revamped vision and mission to Excel Uganda and Africa.
Leading Economists, including the brand new Musevenomics, have it that “Africa is poor because it is poor, discuss.” We are poor because we don’t know what we want and, most times, when we get to know what we want, we do things haphazardly.
The NRM’s ideological package, since time immemorial, has been to inform, reform and transform Uganda and her peoples for sustainable development. The party’s economic mix, designed to propel faster economic growth and development for Uganda, is rooted in the four Economic Models, namely commercial agriculture, industry (small and big), services and ICT (Information, Communication, Technology).
This economic modelling is structured to gear up economic transformation, including wealth creation at the national and local levels, including households. These great innovations are increasingly beginning to yield countrywide impact; big up to the NRM spiritedness.
The NRM’s economic and community-driven programs in the holy names of PDM, Emyoga, YLP, industrialisation, etc., supplemented by democracy deepening for good governance, make the NRM a political star and perpetual winner in Uganda’s leadership and electoral democracy.
The Baganda have it that “Gwewaalabyeko ye Mwana …” translated as, “she/he you have seen (gotten) is the real child ………” Fellow Ugandans, be it as it may, however, let's encourage ourselves and try the NRM with another rap! The NRM is still the best and proven political dispenser for Uganda, according to general observations. Since 1986, when the NRA captured state power, we have seen the NRM doing its thing effectively, though with some strategic and tactical challenges.
The NRM should therefore and without any delay reconnect with its base line entry point agenda (the 10-Point Program) and correct all the socio-economic and political abnormalities and disasters inflicted on the people of Uganda during its reign that include chronic joblessness to the young generation, high mass corruption, weaponizing and commercializing politics, gaps in the rule of law and constitutionalism and land grabbing with impunity among other inconsistences.
Thank you all, and together, one thing at a time!
