Nairobi to host International Inter-Industry Conference and Exhibition

Kenya’s capital city Nairobi is gearing up to host a groundbreaking International Business Sustainability Conference and Exhibition from the 27th to the 29th of June 2024 at the University of Nairobi Chancellors Court.

This event, organized by the United SMEs Association of Kenya in partnership with Jubilant Stewards of Africa (JSA), the lead organizers of the pacesetters awards and other development partners, aims to bring together top developers, brands, technology providers, innovators, and business enthusiasts from around the world.

With over 500 firms expected to exhibit and participate from across the five continents, the conference promises to be a melting pot of ideas, innovation, and collaboration.

Jared Oundo, the National Coordinator and Secretary General of the United SMEs Association of Kenya, highlighted the significance of the event, stating, “The International Business Sustainability Exhibition provides firms from various sectors of the global economy with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their technological innovations and solutions.”

The expo will feature industry-specific conferences, panel discussions, and keynote speeches, offering attendees valuable insights into the latest business trends, market developments, and emerging prospects. 

Moreover, participants will have ample opportunities for networking with global institutions, industry experts, and potential collaborators, thereby enhancing their business prospects.

Mary Boniface, the CEO of Jubilant Stewards of Africa, affirmed the organization's commitment to supporting the expo and conference, underscoring its dedication to creating innovative solutions that enhance agriculture and contribute to sustainable development.

She said that the theme of the expo, 'Investing in the Future', underscores the importance of forward-thinking approaches to business sustainability, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and the evolving global economic landscape.

Byakatonda Abdulhu, the Workers’ MP Uganda, emphasized the event's significance in promoting regional integration and fostering business sustainability. 

He stressed the importance of international trade in Africa and beyond, highlighting the conference as a crucial platform for exchanging ideas, forging collaborations, and addressing pressing challenges facing businesses today.
