The two institutions, established during president Idi Amin’s regime (NCDC) 42 years ago and Dr Milton Obote’s regime (UNEB) 52 years ago, cemented Uganda’s efforts to break away from East Africa and enabled the country to develop internal capacity away from the British syllabus and the East African Examinations Board (EAEB), respectively.
