For Mukisa, it was his stage antics that got him to an extent of dancing on the flow without losing the rhythm of Haruna Mubiru’s Ye Gwe song that caught the attention of the judges. The judges said Haruna Mubiru’s voice is a hard one to mimic and very few have tried it in competitions like this, but Mukisa did it to perfection.

At all times when the contestants were coming on stage every one of them hard members in their camp cheering on them and after the performance the compliments from the judges were received well by the audience who were clapping on each of them but also groans were heard at times when a contestant was told a point of their weakness that they need to improve.

Yusufu Bbosa Isma came in as the Mr Bukedde first runner-up, while Rebecca Kusasira was the first runner-up Miss Bukedde.

Vision Group head of television Moses Ateng, who represented the company CEO, thanked the sponsors  of the project, saying its because of their support that they were able have such an incredible competition. He also congratulated the winners.

Richard Kayiira, the Bukedde TV1 station manager, promised to have a much better competition in the years to come. He encouraged those that didn’t win, saying it's not the end of the world.

Kayiira advised them to use this as a platform to boost their careers.

The winners were each given a land title plus sh5m, while the first runner-up each got themselves a cheque worth sh5m.

Music critic Joseph Batte, singer Exodus and John K, a writer, who were the judges, did an incredible job in ensuring the competition lives up to the highest level.

Vision Publisher Band, owned by one of the contestants from the second edition of Miss and Mr Bukedde, provided a great backup to all the contestants.

The night was capped off with performances from singers King Saha and Karole Kasiita but  many of the guests were taken  up as some were still in jubilating mode and the ones that didn’t win in somber mode.

The event, organised by Nobert Events, was sponsored by Njovu Estate Developers, Movit and Sums foods.
