Baby Gloria, Jonas Mbaleka hold colourful wedding ceremony

Gospel musician Gloria Mulungi Ssenyonjo and Jonas Mbaleka are officially man and wife. 

The couple wed on Friday, August 29 at Redeemed Church Makerere in a lavish ceremony that was televised for viewers. The highly billed wedding followed several pre-wedding events, including a bridal shower held recently. 

After the wedding, she took to her socials and wrote, “Finally, Mrs. Mbaleka. Thank you, Jesus,” she wrote.

 
During the exchange of vows, she was a bag of emotions and at point broke down and cried as she affirmed her sentiments of attachment to Jonas, who had the look of a lucky groom permanently etched on his face.  

At the lavish reception held at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Jolly, Baby Gloria’s baby sister, delivered a heartfelt and emotional speech at the wedding reception where she revealed that both Jonas and Gloria love genuinely. 

Baby Gloria’s wedding was filled with beautiful highlights, including the singer’s father walking down the aisle and exchanging vows with Jonas, among other memorable moments.

Their traditional wedding journey began with a Kukyala ceremony in April when Jonas and his family formally visited Baby Gloria’s parents to ask for her hand in marriage.

It should be recalled that Baby Gloria’s mother, veteran gospel artiste, Betty Nakibuuka revealed that the bride was a virgin, which necessitated the groom to bring a goat as a mark to celebrate her chastity. 

“Gloria is a virgin. I told her I wanted her to get married as I did. I am proud she listened. I tell all my daughters to follow in the same path,” she revealed.
