INTERNATIONAL VISIT
Pastor Robert Kayanja has had a high-level meeting with Isaac Herzog, the President of the State of Israel.
The founder and senior Pastor of the Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala, Kayanja discussed with the Israeli head of state the strategy of the Israel-African Equation, which is a great partnership.
According to a statement, a copy of which was seen by New Vision, the meeting took place in Jerusalem on Wednesday.
The Pastor shared with the president his book, Readdressing The Imbalance, on top of discussing with him his vision for the African continent,” reads the statement issued on Thursday (October 30, 2025).
Kayanja was part of a delegation of about 30 senior Christian religious leaders from 10 African countries, who arrived in Israel this week for a four-day visit initiated by Israel Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel.
“The high-level delegation represented millions of worshippers. Miracle Centre Cathedral leaders were among delegation,” further reads the statement.
It further said the delegation was composed of leaders from more than 10 African nations, among them Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Ghana, Zambia and Angola.
“These represented millions of believers who continue to lift the banner of Jesus Christ across the continent.”

JESUS’ FOOTSTEPS
The statement referred to the entire visit as an act of “Walking Where Jesus Walked.”
“For us Miracle Centre Cathedral, being represented in the land of Israel was a spiritual awakening. To walk where Jesus walked, to pray in Jerusalem, and to witness firsthand the land of the Bible stirred a deep sense of gratitude and renewal,” further read the statement, which also featured on the ministry website.
“As Pastor Robert Kayanja often reminds us, ‘The Gospel came from Jerusalem, and we must always return to honour the roots of our faith.’ This journey was exactly that — a return to the source.” It additionally said the discussions went beyond politics.
“Our presence as Miracle Centre Cathedral carried a prophetic meaning. Uganda is known as the Pearl of Africa, and through the ministry of Pastor Robert Kayanja, the gospel has reached millions across the world,” the church leadership said.
The statement further said the visit and eventual meeting strengthened the bridge between Africa and Israel.
“This visit reaffirmed the strong relationship between African Christians and the nation of Israel. We came not only to honour the land, but to declare that Africa is rising spiritually — that the revival fire burning in Uganda is part of a larger move of God connecting nations.”
It added: “At Miracle Centre Cathedral, we continue to believe that Uganda will be a centre of revival for Africa — a place where faith, miracles, and the power of the Holy Spirit flow freely. We are more convinced than ever that the time for Africa’s spiritual awakening has come.”
