NRM Primaries: Gulu City results out

Patrick Okello has been declared the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party flag bearer for the Mayoral position of Bardege-Layibi Division, in Gulu City.

He garnered 3,017 votes, beating his two contenders: Robert Komakech and Alfred Oluba, who got 730 and 476 votes, respectively.

Meanwhile, Concy Atim Oyike took the party flag for the City Woman Councilor V for Bardege-Layibi North position with 1,168 votes, beating Doreen Lubwoyo Aber and Susan Acayo, who got 877 and 252 votes, respectively.

For Woman Councillor V for Bardege-Layibi South position, Evelyn Laker Lamwaka took the party flag with 963 votes, beating Prisca Aloyojok with 586 votes.

Geoffrey Akena took party flag with 2,049 votes, for Male Councillor V for Bardege-Layibi Division position, beating Richard Komakech Oketayot and Sunday Olanya, who got 1,215 and 637 votes, respectively.

Meanwhile, Gifter Aber has defeated Patrick Omaya to take the NRM party flag for Laroo-Pece Division Mayoral position. She got 5,993 votes against Omaya’s 779.

For the Woman Councilor V for Laroo-Pece North position, Caroline Alarokoma beat Jenneth Nyaga with 2663 votes against 615 votes, while Tracy Flavia Anena took the party flag.

She polled 660 votes, beating Eunice Adokorach and Lilian Ritha Apiyo, who got 478 and 354 votes, respectively.

Meanwhile, for the male Councilor V position, Francis Tony Okot took the party flag with 3,656 votes, beating Francisco Watdok Awori, who got 2,591 votes.
