KAMPALA - NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson Dr Tanga Odoi has summoned all aspirants contesting for positions on the party's central executive committee for a harmonisation meeting slated for August 12, 2025, ahead of their elections.

Tanga said the summons follows some CEC aspirants using bad language during consultations with voters.

"Some of them are abusive and using negative adjectives and adverbs about others," he said during a media briefing at the party headquarters in Kampala on August 7, 2025.

According to Tanga, as national leaders, CEC aspirants should have a high level of integrity and decorum.
