Uganda’s kickboxer Moses Musisi aka Breaker Breaker is confident of flooring South Sudanese Richard Oulanyah on May, 18 at Club Obligato.

In the event dubbed ‘The Rebirth of Kickboxing’, a total of 15 thrillers that include Kiboko-sponsored welterweight Phillip Oklong who will be battling Sunday Isabi are lined up for the day.

Musisi alias ‘The new Moses Golola’ and the current holder of the East and Central Africa Oriental lightweight kickboxing title says he is ready to kick everything at his disposal to retire Olanyah.

“This is going to be like a war. I need to win this fight in any possible way because it means a lot to my kickboxing career. Expect to see fire on that day,” Musisi told Vision Sport.

“My promise to the fans is to give them my best performance worthy of their penny. I’m going to crush this South Sudanese to pulp. I'm going to retire him.”

The vocal kickboxer is currently in intensive training at Masco Lion Heart Gym in Mulago, owned by fellow kickboxer Alex Mastiko under coach Abu Kimpi.

Against Olanya, Musisi faces a hard nut to crack, different from the last three foreign fighters he has defeated.

In January 2023, the Pentagon Kickboxing Club graduate knocked out Malawi’s Rajab Fahad in the first round before flooring Kenya’s duo of Dickson Omoro and Bernard Achoki.

His second-round knockout of Achoki won him the East and Central Africa lightweight Oriental kickboxing title.

Rashid Babu, the managing director of Kiboko Group of Companies, the sponsors of Oklong sounds optimistic that his fighter will get the much-needed win.

“Our target is to promote talent not only in combat sports but in all disciplines. Our kickboxer Oklong is in good shape and I believe he is going to knock out his opponent” Babu noted.

Among the undercard fights, Lira Boxing Club’s middleweight Dan Obote takes on Fight Club-Gaba’s Joseph Katumba, welterweight Abdallah Bongole of Pentagon kickboxing from Natete up against Ibrahim Biso of Hardbody Kickboxing Club.
