The UMA Chairperson Deo Kayemba tips SMEs to exploit Information Technology Communication (ITC) if they are to grow their budding businesses.

“Some of the ICT-powered marketing channels of manufactured goods are social media marketing, search engine marketing, content marketing, affiliate marketing, E-mail marketing, and SMS marketing. Today other than the conventional media channels ICT provides support to business clients by creating a network of agents that can cover the target territory and develop sales,” said Kayemba.

The chairman of the communication, marketing and events subcommittee Eddie Serunkuma urged the public to grace the occasion and take advantage of discounts being offered that beat the market prices.

“This is a multiple fair where you can get hardware, motorbikes, electronics or furniture on Black Friday at a 50 percent cheaper price tag in the market. Fairgoers will be spoilt for choice. You had better start making a shopping list to avoid impulse shopping,” Serunkuma said.
