Parliament wants NIRA to relocate from Kololo

KAMPALA - Legislators on the Parliamentary Committee of Defence and Internal Affairs have recommended the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) to prioritize plans to relocate headquarters from Kololo Ceremonial Grounds due to continuous disruptions of NIRA operations by National Ceremonies.

NIRA reported that they at one time lost 33 working days in a year due to national ceremonies that froze operations of the entity.
