PICTORIAL: Nkumba win their first UFL trophy

Nkumba University beat UCU 3-1 to win their first Pepsi University Football League title on Saturday.

Kennedy Ssebadduka opened the scoring for Nkumba before Ismael Lubega doubled the lead after UCU goalkeeper John Collins Wesoonga was red-carded for handling outside the box. Lubega scored from the resultant free kick.

Isaac Musuga made it three there-after as Nkumba led 3-0 at the breakSharif Ssewanyana curled in a freekick early in the second half for UCU's consolation. Nkumba players, officials and players erupted in celebration at the end as they took the coveted trophy to Entebbe. Michael Nsubuga captured the action.
