In the heart of Dallas, Texas in the US, an extraordinary event is about to unfold. From May 24 to May 26, the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria will transform into a hub of excitement, energy, and inspiration as it hosts the Twegaite International Convention 2024.

At the Memorial Day weekend, connections will be forged, bridges built, and Busoga's culture celebrated.

The Busoga Kingdom Minister of Tourism and Heritage, Hellen Namutamba, is scheduled to speak at the annual event.

The first day of the convention, Friday, May 24, will set the tone with engaging workshops and dynamic speakers who will share their insights on various topics, from cultural preservation to modern innovation.

The evening will culminate in a grand opening ceremony, where music and dance will bring the region's shared heritage to life.

Saturday, May 25, is a day of deep connection and networking, with guests participating in interactive sessions designed to foster collaboration and spark new ideas. The day will also feature conversations that inspire and empower, surrounded by individuals who share different passions for community and progress.

The final day, Sunday, May 26, will feature celebrations for the bonds made and strengthened and those created.

A closing ceremony filled with heartfelt moments and joyous celebrations will mark the end of the guests' time together, but the beginning of lasting relationships and ongoing collaborations.

The event will be officiated by the Kyabazinga, William Nadiope and Inhebantu Jovia Mutesi, with a special address on women empowerment by Rebecca Kadaga, the First Deputy Prime Minister, who will also launch her book, Pathways to Greatness, on Saturday.
