Kireka v Rox Berry 4pm
Rox Berry currently lead the Nile Special Pool League but still have work to do to secure the title.
This weekend presents a golden opportunity to widen the gap at the top as they face Kireka, who sit second from bottom in the 16-team table.
After suffering their only loss of the season to Capital Night, Rox Berry have bounced back with renewed focus, winning every match since and consistently collecting bonus points. According to team manager Zakaria Indiro, that strategy has made all the difference.
“We’ve played 12 matches, drawn one, and lost one. That loss was unexpected—not just for us, but for the entire pool fraternity,” Indiro said. “It was a wake-up call. We learned that in this league, you need maximum concentration and must respect every opponent.”
The defeat forced Rox Berry to regroup and double down on their approach.
“We sat down and agreed: let’s not just win, let’s win with bonus points,” Indiro explained. “That mindset paid off, especially when Scrap Buyers, who were leading the table, dropped points in a draw with Greater Mukono.”
With the title race heating up, Rox Berry are determined to maintain their momentum and capitalize on every opportunity to stay ahead.
