Uganda Premier League side Lugazi FC, has completed the signing of striker Paul Busolo from Mbarara City FC.
The club announced the transfer on Tuesday, July 15, through a statement on its website, declaring, “We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Paul Busolo from Mbarara City.”
Busolo joins Lugazi FC after delivering a solid performance last season, netting three goals and providing four assists for Mbarara City. His contributions played a vital role in helping the Ankole Lions retain their top-flight status and avoid relegation.
The speedy forward brings with him a rich footballing background. He launched his journey at Abafra Soccer Academy and made his mark during school competitions for Kawempe Royal College and Gombe High School. Busolo later sharpened his abilities with the SC Villa Junior Team before progressing to senior football with Mbarara City.
Upon signing with Lugazi FC, Busolo shared his enthusiasm, describing the club as “a good working environment” and expressing excitement for the new chapter ahead.
