National Unity Platform (NUP) chief mobiliser Fred Nyanzi, commonly known as Chairman Nyanzi, is finally set to get married to his partner, Majorine Namukisa Katumba,  this Friday, April 26, at Rubaga Cathedral.

The after-party will take place at Freedom City on Entebbe Road.

Nyanzi is one of many Ugandans who postponed their weddings after the President introduced scientific weddings, a concept in which the number of guests was restricted and parties banned to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in 2020.

Nyanzi's wedding had been scheduled to take place at Rubaga Cathedral in October 2020 after the introduction ceremony that took place in Kyakwanzi district on March 14, 2020.

Nyanzi's stag party is set for this Wednesday, April 24, at Catwalk Bar & Lounge in Kololo, a city suburb.

Nyanzi and Namukisa said they met 23 years ago and have 11 children.
