IN PICTURES: Bride and Groom winners land in Mombasa for luxury stay

The 2022 Bride and Groom finale-winning couple have arrived in Mombasa, Kenya for a two-night stay at the famous luxurious Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa.

Doreen Mary Mudondo, her husband Adreal Mames Masembe and their two children, Ariela Nambasa and Abraham Kalanzi and the wedding couple winners, Immaculate Oroma and her husband Francis Ocendi arrived at the Moi International Airport aboard the Bombardier CRJ900 flight by the Uganda Airlines. 

The bombardier, under the navigation of Captain Mugabe, the bombardier departed Entebbe International Airport at about 2:30pm and landed at Moi International Airport at about 3:52pm.

They were later picked up by the Hotel driver, Benjamin who drove them for a 42.8km road trip going through Mombasa Island Central Business District to the mainland via a large ferry.

The winners had the opportunity to drive through the much-organized Mombasa city, both the Old and New, including visiting historical sites like Fort Jesus and the long Mombasa beach along the Indian Ocean.

Mudondo was an exhibitor at the 2022 Bride and Groom Expo at UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo where she manned the Bra World stall. 

She bought a raffle ticket that won her a trip to Mombasa and chose to travel with her husband and their two children. She was announced the winner by the Uganda Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Jenifer Bamuturaki and Vision Group’s CEO/MD Don Wanyama. 

On the same trip are the wedding couple winners, Oroma and Ocendi.

Oroma won the Bride and Groom Expo 2022. A professional librarian, Oroma, works at the Law Development Center, Lira campus. 

The couple tied the knot at Uganda Martyrs Minor Basilica Namugongo in Wakiso district on January 14, 2023.  

They later hosted their guests at Crystal Gardens, Namugongo, courtesy of the Vision Group and its partners - Uganda Airlines and Twende Neptunes.
