Former Cranes player Umar Ssenoga believes winning the Stanbic Uganda Cup is one of the moments he cannot forget.
Ssenoga who was part of the Express team that beat Nile Breweries FC 4-1 in 1991 to win the trophy, emphasized this shortly after conducting the semifinal draw of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Monday at FUFA House. BUL will play NEC while Kitara will battle Pajule Lions in another semifinal tie.
“I still remember this achievement since we had defeated SC Villa in the semifinals and yet they were the better side. What I can't forget is that I scored in both the semifinal and final. In fact, during one of those games, one of the fans out of excitement gave me his wallet with all his money, but later I returned it to him since he didn't have transport back to Kampala," he added.
