Njeru Municipality
Here, there was chaos at around 9:00pm, forcing the Police and army to intervene. The scuffle was reportedly sparked off by Kabuye Badru Mpoza and his supporters confronting gospel singer Judith Babirye's former husband Paul Musoke Ssebulime, also a former Member of Parliament for Njeru Municipality.
Musoke had returned to contest again, but when Kabuye's supporters saw him at the tally centre at Buikwe district headquarters, they questioned him what he had gone to do at the tally center claiming that they had won him already from the ground, claiming they had already defeated him.

They threatened to beat him up, and within minutes, a fight broke out. Scuffles started and security forces intervened, escorting Paul Musoke out. The situation remained tense but later calmed down.
Ceaser Kalema, another candidate for Njeru, accused the Police of beating Musoke and injuring him. He claimed Musoke was taken to Kawolo Hospital with injuries and had his clothes torn.
He also threatened to reject the results unless the votes were recounted at the NRM headquarters in Kyadondo, Kampala, alleging that some declaration forms were tampered with and destroyed by police officers who were allegedly supporting a particular candidate.
Later, NRM election officer for Buikwe district Peter Sserwadda declared Kabuye Badru Mpoza the winner with 15,928 votes, followed by Paul Musoke with 7,526 votes and Kalema with 6,173 votes.
