Cricket Cranes coach Mahatlane keeping faith
ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League
Today: Uganda v Bermuda
Laurence Mahatlane is still smarting from Uganda's 32-wicket defeat to Kenya at ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League.
But with two more games to play, and a chance, minute though might be, to finish top of Group B, the Cricket Cranes coach says his charges will fight till the end.
"We are not in control of our own destination anymore... the best we can do is get four points over the next two games," Mahatlane said.
"Anything is possible out there."
Uganda are in third position, two points behind leaders Jersey and one behind second-placed Hong Kong who have played a game more.
Jersey's massive advantage in net run rate means they would have to lose their last two games for Uganda to have a chance of finishing top.
But as Mahatlane said, anything is possible
