The tip-off dates for the FUBA National Basketball League have been revised for the second time.

The basketball fraternity was chomping at the bit to return courtside on March 10 before the start date was pushed to March 17.

The latest information coming from the organising committee confirms that the league will now get underway on March 19.

The change of date has been attributed to delayed renovation works ongoing at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.

The two big opening fixtures — UCU v JKL Dolphins and City Oilers v KIU Titans — have now been knocked back by two days, a timely extension for most to put their houses in order.

Reports indicate that most of the teams have only just started training for the new season and the fitness of the players has been a major concern while others are finalising their squad lists.

National Basketball League (March 19)

Magic Stormers v Miracle Eaglets (10 am)

D-Mark Power v Rezlife Saints (12 pm)

Ndejje University v KCCA Panthers (2 pm)

UCU Lady Canons v JKL Dolphins (4 pm)

KIU Titans v City Oilers (6 pm)
