Friends Bus boosts Consta

Rally driver John Consta has been boosted in his rally competition comeback bid. 

Consta who has been on a seven-year sabbatical acquired a superior Ford Fiesta proto R4 car he launched at his club in Bukoto.

The Spartanz driver as he is popularly known in motorsport received a big boost from Friends Bus  proprietor Sulait Natukunda offered him three-year fuel support.

Natukunda who has supported drivers including Duncan Mubiru Kikankane, Leila Blick Mayanja and Fred Kitaka said that the comeback of Consta will create more competition which is good for the sport that is why he decided to support him.

Friends Bus  has supported rally fans to go to the WRC safari rally in Kenya for the last four to three years and also in the Africa Rally Championship in Burundi.

“As Friends Bus  we are committed to supporting sports and we shall give Consta a three-year fuel support,” Natukunda said.

He also offered his bus to take fans to Rwanda for the Mount Gorilla rally to support the Uganda drivers who are competing in the ARC event which is the fourth leg of the African rally championship.

Jas Mangat, Yasin Nasser and Innocent Bwamik are the Ugandan drivers competing for the ARC title.
His wife Zera Natukunda supported Consta with USD 200 (sh740,000) while Uganda Rugby Union President Godwin Kayangwe contributed sh2m.

Consta will start the competition with the UMC rally in Fort Portal.
