She Cranes versatile star player Haniisha Munameed Nakate left everyone dazzled on her debut for Surrey Storm Netball Club in England after her spectacular performance as her club humbled Team Bath 68-37 in a preseason game.

Nakate who played in defence for 60 minutes won herself the Player of the Match award something that left spectators in awe.

Talking to Vision Sports, Nakate said she hopes for a brighter future in the Vitality Netball League.

“When I started playing netball at 15 years old, everyone despised my abilities due to my body structure. Such words used to piss me off, but they pushed me to work hard and I was determined to disapprove of them that’s why when I’m playing, I put in more effort, and it is just the beginning, I’m going far,” Nakate said.

Nakate is part of the 13 players for She Cranes who are right now in England waiting to take on Wales in a three-test series at the House of Sport Arena in Cardiff from January 20 to 28.
